After 11 years as half of the Dwelling & Design owner/designer team, Don Wooters is officially retiring from Dwelling & Design effective Summer 2019.
In 2008, he met Fiona Weeks, and they decided to partner and fulfill their dream of opening a home furnishings retail store to pair with the interior design services for which they were already known for. Their two styles complemented one another astonishingly well, combining Don’s traditional, sleek, masculine aesthetic with Fiona’s colorful, contemporary feminine flair. Together, they have won multiple awards, including Talbot County Chamber of Commerce’s Best Small Business in 2017.
Don goes out on an extremely high note, receiving acclaim as the lead interior design consultant on recent renovation projects for The Dixon House, Londonderry and the historic Avalon Theatre restoration.
We’ll miss his design expertise, sense of humor, and the dedicated service he provided to our customers and clientele.
We couldn’t be happier for him (in fact, we’re a bit envious), and know he will enjoy and exploit his new found free time to the max – attending theatre and opera in NY, scoping new art shows, gardening and more importantly – decorating his new home on the Shore!
Congratulations & Best Wishes,
Fiona, Brooke, Michelle, Nick and Rae
